Who is behind this company?

Michaela is from the Czech republic, Prague and Simone is from Sardinia, Italy. We are 39 years old and we left our homes more or less 20 years ago to travel the world. We have been together for over 12 years and in 2021 we got married. 

As an individual or couple, we have always shared a love for adventure and exploring new places.

From the moment we met at a party in Barcelona over a decade ago, we knew that we wanted to see as much of the world as possible together.

Since then, we have traveled to over 50 countries, experiencing new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes along the way.

The Hunter

Simone, apart from being a full-time traveler is also professional Chef, is especially thrilled to try all of the different dishes and flavors that the world has to offer.

As he always try to find the best ingredients for his dishes, he use the same strategy for our shop to find the best travel gear for your trips for reasonable price.

The Brain

Michaela is a digital marketer specializing on Pinterest and Advertisement. Before opening her business, she worked many years in a big international company as a customer service manager so she is the voice behind our shop and she will make sure that you have the best treatment ever.

In addition to our love of travel and exploration, we also have a passion for food and cooking.

Simone, with his professional chef background, has always enjoyed trying new recipes and experimenting with different flavors and ingredients. When we have the opportunity, he loves to cook some of his favorite dishes for us to enjoy while on the road.

One of our favorite destinations has been Japan so far, where we were able to indulge in some of the most delicious food we have ever tasted.

Where everything started...

In 2019, we made the decision to travel indefinitely and work remotely, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in our travels. We started by heading to South America, where we spent six months exploring the various countries and cultures of the continent.

However, our plans were interrupted when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and we were forced to return to Europe for a time.

After spending two years in Europe, we decided to head to South East Asia to continue our travels. We have spent the past few months exploring countries like Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, immersing ourselves in the local cultures and trying as many new foods as possible.

As we continue to travel and explore new places, we have also decided to share our love of travel and food with others through our blog and e-shop, Fun Food Travel Gear.

We have collected a variety of all-in-one travel gear that we have personally tested on the road, and we believe that these items can make any trip more comfortable and enjoyable.

From travel accessories to food-related items, we have something for everyone in our shop.
